Am I eligible for Medicare Part D?

You are eligible to apply for a Blue Rx plan if you:

If you live in Virginia, the BlueCross BlueShield Prescription Drug Plan is offered through Anthem BlueCross BlueShield.

If you already have prescription drug coverage through a union or former employer, please check with your benefits administrator to find out whether you should apply for Medicare Part D or keep the coverage you have.

If you have a Medigap plan that includes prescription drug coverage, contact the insurance company that offers your plan for information. You should receive a letter from your carrier explaining how your benefits compare to Medicare Prescription Drug benefits. This letter should also outline your options regarding prescription drug coverage.
