Voluntary Recall on Several Lots of Dextroamphetamine Sulfate 5mg Tablets

Ethex Corporations and the FDA issued a voluntary recall of several lots of 5 mg dextroamphetamine sulfate tablets due to the potential presence of oversized tablets containing as much as double the amount of active ingredient.

Possible side effects of taking an increased dosage of this medicine are:

  • tachycardia
  • hypertension
  • tremors
  • decreased appetite
  • headache
  • insomnia
  • dixxiness
  • blurred vision
  • stomach upset
  • dry mouth

Consumers should not use any Dextroamphetamine Sulfate tablets that appear to be oversized and should consult their health care professional with any questions.
