Safety Information For Specific Lots of Levemir Insulin

The FDA has informed both patients and health care professionals that some stolen 10mL vials of the insulin Levemir made by Novo Nordisk Inc. are being sold in the U.S. market. These vials may not have been stored or handled properly, and may pose some danger.
The following lots have been affected:
- XZF0036
- XZF0037
- XZF0038
If you currently have any of the affected Levemir Insulin 10mL vials, please discontinue use immediately and contact the Novo Nordisk Customer Care Center at 1-800-727-6500.
