Plans Offered by Medi-CareFirst
Medi-CareFirst offers Individual Medicare Part D Prescription drug and employer-sponsored Medicare Advantage Private Fee-For-Service plans for Medicare-eligible retirees. In addition, we offer Medicare Supplement plans through our affiliate, CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield.
Note: Eligibility and Claim Status inquiries for Medicare Advantage members can be made through CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield's secure site for providers, CareFirst Direct.

Important Information about MA PFFS Plans
- As of December 31, 2009, Medi-CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield (Medi-CareFirst) will no longer offer the AdvantageBlue PFFS product to our employer groups .
- Until January 1, 2010, there will be no operational changes and existing AdvantageBlue PFFS members can continue to receive care from providers who accept the Medi-CareFirst Terms and Conditions.
- Please note that it is recommended that members file any paper pharmacy claims (for vaccines, for example) by April 30, 2010.
